Yeah I think we need to use our list a bit more with such a short break. I'd love to see Webster get a run
In a way it becomes the battle of the whole clubs not just teams of 22 . Teams that manage their list the best will come out on top as well as home ground advantages and a good deal of luck .
it’s gonna be unique but I think you’ve got to see the fun part about all of this .
Should be so entertaining!!

We've got 41 fit players on the list right now, think many will get a run and some make their debuts.

Would be incredible if we can beat Port, gives us some breathing room if we were to drop a game off one of those two short breaks.

I would say we will;

Lose v Port Adelaide
Win v Sydney
Win v Gold Coast
Lose v Geelong
Win v Essendon

In any case, if we can get out of Round 12 with a 7-5 or 6-6 record we should be well placed to make a run at the eight in the final month of the year.

Wondering if it will change gameplans?

For example if say we have a Gres pull up sore so we just play him out of the square only going up to the 50.

Like on the weekend, if locked in the defensive half, the defence can barrel it forward over the press to a one on one.

Pressures the zone and the defensive setup.

Thrilled with the result.

Get Sydney when they’re hit by injuries. And I believe it’s just Geelong we play off less of a break.

2 games on free to air, 1 on the big Thursday slot.

No interstate travel & 3 games at the Gabba that is likely to feature as a venue heavily in finals and likely the Grand Final.

Players just have to play their roll now

four day break between dons and cats 😮
play Geelong on a Thursday then bombers on the Monday!

Either I am looking at the wrong fixture or it is 4 days between the Suns and Cats.
6 between Cats and Dons.

And 5 between Swans and Suns and a week between Port and Swans.

So tough run this week to back up in Adelaide, but then a nice 7 day break to set us up for an important and winnable group of 4 games.

Win 3 out of 4 and finals will be beckoning.

Win 2 and we we will be holding on ina very level season.

i think we can even snag a win against Geelong. There’s a few older players in them that will be due for a rest come our game.

I think Cats may rest more players in the North game than against us.

They have 5 days before us. One extra day. Plus the Cats only have 4 days before North after playing WCE. Plus they will be relocating to Qld from WA that week.

I'd be tempted to make sure every single player on the list played a maximum of 3 out of the 4 games during the 16 day window. We really should try to capitalise on us having a fit and healthy list, with decent depth in a number of areas.

It will be interesting to see how Geelong go about it.

Do they have their players back up off a 4 day break, including a flight from Perth to Brisbane, likley bank the 4 points against Nth and then rest players for what would be a harder match up against us?

Or do they rest players against Nth, back themselves to get the 4 points and focus on our game, which is 8 days after they leave Perth.

Similar situation with us, we have a 5 day break leading into the Suns followed by a 4 day break as preparation for the Cats. Do we rest players for the Cats game and set ourselves to be full strength against the Swans, Suns and Bombers?

Whoops i got it wrong. Was suns and cats

Compared to some sides we got a decent run in the four game block. Probably means some doozies are coming our way late. Hopefully we can make the most of this block.

This will be a good test of our depth ..

Is Logan Austin fit ?? If so I think Carlisle will be rested in the short turn arounds.. otherwise brown should be used .

I can see bytel getting a debut too

I’m sure king will be given a spell as well not sure we have a replacement maybe Marshall will play a full game from full forward.

I expect ratts will get creative.
