It makes sense to me now, us Televising the Anzac game into China.Inspirational REH.
Graham Cornes agrees with you.
Vietnam Vets have a bond impossible to put into words ... unless they are Vietnam Vets, no matter who they played for, no matter what club they coached.
Thank you, mate.LR you are an absolute bloody legend.
Thank you, mate.
Look, I know about paywalls and stuff, but for once Graham Cornes has taken the positive side of a Port Adelaide news sory and made it about Peter Chant. If you can get around the paywall, it is a great read. If not, steal a paper from your neighbour's lawn tomorrow...

I usually only skim read G. Cornes' articles but today I read it in full and kept looking for the usual dig at Port but never found one. Very good article by Graham and a big thank you to Lockhart RoadThis is the Graham Cornes I want so desperately to like.
Hear, hear.Much respect Lockhart Road. Above all else what a wonderful way to honour and remember a friend.
This is the week when I go back to this thread, read Ford Fairlane's OP and the posts that follow it, raise a glass - as I'm doing now - and remember.
I remember April 2013 when we started 5 and 0, came from 7 goals down in the third vs West Coast in ANZAC Round at Footy Park - Peter Chant's match, when he was officially acknowledged by the Club and I gave Kochie a WFRW tie with the three feathers on it, one representing Pete.
I remember how 1967 - fifty years ago - was the year Pete joined the Army.
This year is also the 50th anniversary, the jubilee, of 9th Battalion's (9RAR) formation at Keswick and Woodside.
The big reunion is in Adelaide in November.
Remember.
All that has happened since.
How can I ever forget.
How can I forget any bit of it?
Puts life, puts footy, in perspective. They go together, like great mates.
