Round one should be our focus.

We should be resting the likes of the McLeod, Goodwin and Clarke this week

give the youngsters and fringe players a go, to show their stuff and experience a final in front of a hostile crowd.

Who cares if we win it or not. Let's get the most we can out of the experience.

I agree

As much as the players talk about wanting to be apart of our first pre season grand final win (should we win), the main target should be that one day in September. We should be resting out key players and playing our youngsters who will be out to impress to secure a senior spot during the year.

If we win, fantastic but if we don't we don't!

Can't help but look at all the one side trial games around the country and think how tough this pre-season has been for our guys compared to everyone else.

Even Collingwood haven't had it that tough although whether that's because they're so good or the opposition have been ordinary I guess we'll find out Saturday.

Andy Mcleod also played the ATSIC game so I'd think pretty hard about giving him a rest. He's been spending a bit more time down back this year so I'm sure the coaching staff have got that under control. I'd also like to see an extra ruckman on the bench to take some of the physical beating that Clarke and Biglands have been taking.

The problem is that now we're in the final I guess we have to take it seriously, but that means by round 1 we'll have played 4 very tough games.

In some ways a club is almost better off getting kicked out early in the comp. At least then you can control the physical preparation for the H&A season. The $200k is not important for the Crows.

Bring back Ben Marsh, that is if he's fit & also give Rutten another go, will the club go all out for a win or hold back a bit ?? i think now we have come this farwhy not have a real crack at it,

but it is only a pre-season comp, might have been better losing to the Roos after all,
