Yeah but your forgetting they are all cheap kicks, he is a shite captain and doesn't gain enough metersTake out his injury affected 19 touches against Port and he is averaging nearly 32 touches a game this year. 4 higher than his 2012 year.

Got to be close to career best right now doesn't he?Take out his injury affected 19 touches against Port and he is averaging nearly 32 touches a game this year. 4 higher than his 2012 year.
if miles and dusty can continue to find a bit inside it forces opposition to put time into them rather than just sitting on cotchin .Might have more of the footy this season but he's been nowhere near as damaging as he was in 2012.
Although if he does get back to that level any time soon I think the hype train will grow wings and fly us into the top 8.

has anyone ever received two brownlows in the one calender year ?

lol stupid post. he is and always should be a core member of our midfield, this game proved it, whats with idiots on here having digs at cotch when he is playing well anyway? are you jealous of his hair or somethingThoughts on Cotch's return?
Midfield has functioned better without him the last 2 weeks. Does he play medium forward/deep with stints on the ball making us less predictable and passing on some of the responsibility he has shouldered on his own in there all year. Others have lifted without him. Similar vein to moving Richo out of the forward line for the development of others???
Started a total shit truck. Had 3 of the first 5 possessions or something like that but completely muffed then (two were under no pressure). First half of the first quarter he was doing everything he has been criticised for. Then he set Grigg up with a bullet pass and after that was great. He was incredibly clean and he was using his possessions to be attacking and very damaging, actually putting teammates into space to run. His kicks were back to being bullet passes rather than the dinky crap he does so much. If he played like that all year he wins the brownlow. I can't help but think a few weeks out let him get his head together a bit.I missed the game; however, theyellowsash you looked like you were watching Cotch pretty closely. How did he go all game?

Did you read the post properly ya peanut. I didn't criticize him, I suggested making some subtle changes that may have helped the team grow.lol stupid post. he is and always should be a core member of our midfield, this game proved it, whats with idiots on here having digs at cotch when he is playing well anyway? are you jealous of his hair or something
those changes were not needed though as cotch is quite clearly one of our top midfielders, why would you give your top midfielders less midfield time? goes against logic, and top teams need a deep midfield anyway so the more we can rotate through there the better. cotchin on saturday proved that, BOG or 2nd BOG at least and was great under those conditions. i think its time people like you understand why you should stop downgrading or criticizing him. he has never been the problem.Did you read the post properly ya peanut. Speaking of grow. Grow up

yes but the guy is 26... in the prime of his career and playing well richo was 33..., your idea is just wrong sorry, and most people would agree too, give him small stints up forward for a rest but cotch is mainly a midfielderWhere did I criticize him? Instead of flying the flag maybe stop and read first.
Richo was moved to a wing to allow other forwards to grow, and maybe our other mids need more responsibility. Or maybe I'm wrong but if you stop thinking of ways
To Improve then you might aswell
Give up.
