Interestingly, if this happens, all these games bar the Swans/Lions game will be repeats of RD 22 games… Eagles vs Dockers, Dons vs Pies, Port vs Crows... it will also mean the derby final will be at the G.

We beat brisbane without him, the ogre has been doing most of the ruck work anyway. Gave Darcy (8 hitouts and most of those were when the ogre wasn't on the ball) a bath today.

He is not as essential to us as Gardie is to WCE.

It'll be a tough game but I reckon we can win. We will lift for the derby, we always do and I think with Gardiner and Embley (hopefully) back then we can give the Dockers a run for their money. It'll be tough though, as much as I hate to say it, those Dockers are playing good footy.

So every scenario in this thread has us playing the Dockers at Subi in an elimination Final, whether we win or lose the Derby (as long as we beat Melbourne next week)? Bizarre.

One thing's for sure - I'd rather win the first final against the Dockers than win Round 22 and lose the Final.

Well, which part of that do you think a Freo supporter would jump at?

Certainly not the first part, because as far as I recall the Eagles have an exceedingly healthy history when it comes to Freo.

I stand by what I said. If I didn't think we could win, I wouldn't go to the footy. Having said that, I think I've missed two games at subiaco in the entire last 5 years (and I was in hospital for a month during 2000, so I think that gets me off)

Without going into the general trolling statements about the literacy levels or lack thereof of fremantle fans, the point I was making was that the day I don't believe we're a chance to win is the day I don't go to the footy. But it hasn't happened yet.

There hasn't been a game in the last decade which I haven't thought (ok, hoped, at least) that we could win- i was there hoping for a miracle the whole way through the Judge era. I was there last week when we would have needed a miracle to tip Adelaide.

If Woosha ever comes out before a game and says 'look, we're buggered, don't bother showing up,' then maybe I wouldn't be there. If Fremantle fans would be prepared to accept such a line from their club, well more fool you.
