Here's my take on who should go at season's end (traded or delisted) and what type of player/s we should target.

Delisted:
* Houlihan;
* D. Kellaway;
* Nicholls;
* Pettifer;
* Rogers.

Trade Bait:
* Bowden (a must go at seasons end, could easily get a player with twice as much endeavour, he's had enough chances);
* Blumfield (depends on how many games he plays this year, if he only plays a handfull ie. 3-4 then we can't afford to keep him, if he goes OK and remains fit then we keep him, after all he is a premiership player);
* Chaffey (have never really liked him much, he should be playing in the mould of a Chris Johnson but he will never even be half the player CJ is);
* Tivendale (I honestly can't stand him as a player, he's can deliver the ball by foot but that is it, there is no other component to his game that benefits the team, if you summed up the number of goals that his direct midfield opponents have kicked on him we would be here all week, and you can just tell by the way he plays he is not one to put his body on the line, we could easily get a quality player for him);
* Fiora (simply plays too loose as a defender, could be given another chance but he really needs to tighten up and be a consistent performer);
* Fleming (hard at it, but not enough brains to play at this level);
* Hilton (same as Blumfield)
* Hall (let's see how the rest of the season goes for him, if there is no improvement then get rid of him);
* Marsh (do not know why we got him in the first place, an 18 year-old ruckman from the National Draft would've been the better option).

Ooops, forgot the type of players we should target:

Our sole targets out of this draft/trade period should be defenders. Over the past 10 years, the club has never gone out and purposefully set about creating a backline with which to build the rest of the team around. We have been crying out for some tall defenders in the mould of Mal Michael, Dustin Fletcher, Wakelins, etc. We need at least two of this type of player to help support Gaspar & Andy Kellaway. It is obvious that when either of these two are injured, our defence is a shambles and has no structure.

I wish they made edit buttons on these damn forums..

Tivendale and Chaffey - When you mentioned them I tuned out.

You can hardly blame Blumfield and Hilton for our insipid performances. Hopefully they will soon be playing and then we can make an informed judgement.

Fiora and Pettifer seem to be improving and should be given plenty of game time till the end of the season before making any decisions on their future.

Likewise Hall seems to be getting better with experience in defence and we should assess his form at the end of the season too.

Don't have a problem with the others, Tivendale Chaffey and Bowden should be worth something to other clubs but I would only trade them for a 'good' deal. (They all have ability) I would probably consider offloading Zantuck too.

It's a bit early to be making these calls after 5 rounds though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Campbell retires at the end of the season if his form doesn't improve as well.
