I think he will be lucky if he only gets 3.

I don't think he wanted to hurt the guy but it was a very reckless use of the elbow. I actually think he mistimed a genuine attempt at fending off with his forearm but that won't count this time at the tribunal. He will be missing for a few weeks.

Which could be a blessing in disguise I reckon. Hopefully we move McGregor to CHB and bring in Perrie and play him at CHF.

I thought Biglands played OK but that was gutless.

Kenny has to go back to CHB. He plays his best footy down back and even today would have made a bigger impression down there than up forward.

I dont think it was gutless, just very very clumsy, and he will get 3 weeks.

I don't think he should be banned at all, but it wouldn't bother me if he was.

He was clearly going to fend off Polak, he is a BIG guy, his arm started fine but slipped up as Polak slightly ducked down, it was completely unintentional. To be honest, I think it shouldn't even have been reported.

Hopefully he is though and gets Hudson an extended run.

I don't think so at all. If Matthew Lloyd gets off, Biglands, who clearly made the block with the intention of fending the player off and accidentally slipped to his head...why the hell should he be suspended?

He will get suspended IMO.

I have no doubt at all that it was a fend off that went horribly wrong rather than a deliberate crunch to the head - even Rhett wouldn't be dumb enough to do that in an open one on one contest.

That puts it on the edge of reckless though, so he'll probably get suspended for 2 to 3 games.

There is no question he is gone. 3-4 I reckon and hopefully Polak doesn't have an injury from that incident because if he doesn't Rhett is gone for longer. Pitty really, i thought he did OK in defence and would have been a good match up for Gherig.:(

Polly was pretty woozy after the game, and I've heard he will be visiting the denture clinic this week to be fitted up with a couple of shiny new teeth... :(

to put it politely he is ****ed.

what a bloody idiot. I almost fell off the lounge when he did it. there is no way in hell he will get off this week.

k
xx

Pretty stupid really having a big ruckman who is prepared to run through any B## that gets in his way.......If they don't cut things like this out soon we'll have a game of football on our hands.

A critical mistake at a critical time. Unfortunately, Rhett makes poor decisons frequently and he will pay a very high price for his indescetion. This effort may see him on the outer for a while and it may place his capacity to be a long term player at the club under greater scrutiny. He is still making skill errors and errors of judgement that we normally associate with much younger players.

First sight of this one wasn't deceiving, it looked, and was a bad one.

If Polak has a broken jaw / cheekbone, it might even be as high as 6 weeks.

If Polak is only in dreamland for a day it'll probably be a 3 - 4 week holiday.

For some of the other old timers here, I kinda thought Neil Kerley was playing out there for a minute or two.

Completely reckless. We were away, if he'd just got past Polak or dished off. Three weeks on the sidelines in my prediction. Should give Hudson a good opportunity to show us his stuff.

He's turning into Adelaide's Dustin Fletcher... he really needs to learn to control that forearm :(
