Well I'm waiting to see if they are planning any signings somewhere. If not, you might just have to buy the book at recommended retail price, then seek myself and the old man out over time. But I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.

As for this updated version - it includes new oral histories from Peggy O'Neal, Damien Hardwick, Neil Balme, Brendon Gale, as well as memories of Grand Final day from Matthew Richardson.
Also included are new oral histories from Derek Peardon, the club's first Indigenous senior player, and Jan Richmond - widow of Graeme Richmond.
Also in print for the first time ever is the most definitive list of Richmond players from 1885 -2018. So this include over 400 VFA players name in print for the first time, and a significant important update to the club's honour board. We've also included new photos throughout the book. It's bulging towards 400 pages.

Wasnt the great Vic Thorp our first indigenous player Rhett?

Yeah I remember this story. There was an article a long time ago (possibly to do with Gavin Wanganeen?) proposing that Thorp was actually the first Aboriginal to play 250 games. His wiki page is interesting, though the Aboriginal section has no citations. I think the article I read was in The Age.

Hey Rhett, congratulations on what looks to be a stunning book. With so many bells and whistles with technology added to footy turning it into pretty much a corporate business product lacking a soul. It's so great to see an excellently presented book filled with history, knowledge, character, and all in all an experience to soak up so many interesting things in a timeless way.

Well done.
