Where will he end up?

Brisbane could be one team - seeing he was almost traded there last year...
And Sydney is another.

I'd hope at least for a late second round draft pick - he is a solid player who gives great run...

Only Paul Roos could convert him to a strating 22 player

Why is Sydney always thrown up as a possible home for stop gap players that no one else wants.

He's handy at best, the type of player you see 200 times in a decade.

P.S.

Only Paul Roos could get anything out of this guy

Way to answer my question before I asked it.

That might be a bit ambitious. He's just like Farren Ray only 5 years older.

are you serious, trade a 2nd round and 3rd round for harris, geez
people are forgetting shaw is a starting 22 player at collingwood, only out of the side due to injury and suspension. Harris was borderline getting dropped numerous times, in my view not even a superior player to shaw. if we get a 3rd rounder for shaw, keep it, go to the draft again. Shaws kicking although iffy he still has many valuable qualities, he can win his own ball, he can run and receive, he's definately a better player than most give him credit for. Although im not a shaw fan he isn't a complete dud like many still on afl lists

stop trying to con the footy public

if R Shaw did not request a trade he would of been delisted, he comes with baggage as he has off field discipline issues, if Shaw and Didak was not suspended R Shaw probably would not of made the Pies 22 for the finals

R Shaw is a good runner, his disposal is shite and a rock has a better footy brain

if he is worth a 2nd round - well the Pies can keep him and lets see how many games he plays in 2009

he may well have been delisted, but he'd be right to consider himself stiff, not many players who play a whole season in the 1s get delisted at 27, but i guess it was possible, not sure about his contract situation, but he probably had one of his best years, especially early.
to claim that you have a greater knowledge of collingwood than myself is amusing, where did i claim he was worth a 2nd round pick? what do i have to gain from conning people on big footy?
anyway he was good enough to be part of a young football side that was victorious at aami and if he's with us in 09 lets hope he doesn't play many games, that'll mean we're up and going

Maybe not directly, but I can't see us getting another top 25 pick, so we will have to work something out for North.

We need Harris, so an over the odds payment may be required.

Rhyce can play despite the knockers, but we have an oversupply of his type. For us to drop #27 and Rhyce for Harris would be costly, but acceptable.

Id take him for a 3rd rounder.

I wouldnt take him if Collingwood gave him to us with their 3rd rounder for nothing.

I still laugh when I think about the GF against Lions when he crapped his dacks, dropped the ball, slipped over and lynch snapped the ball from 45. Oh the memories.......:D:D:D

yeah....i agree. its a bit like watching Nick Stevens go for a hard footy or Nick Stevens trying to break a tag!

I still laugh Carlton winning 4 games that year, smack bang in the middle of one of the worsts decades in the 100+ years of VFL/AFL footy, just about equal with the Saints of the 80s!

Now I laugh more at Bryce Squibbs and the misplaced optimism of Carlton fans who think they'll start challenging for the 8 with absolute duds like Ackland, Scotland, Bentick, O'hAilpin, Carrazzo, Hadley, Pfieffer, Wiggins, Blackwell, Armfield, Cloke, Hartlett, etc, etc..... :D:D:D:D

has pace, poor disposal, poor footy brain, disciplinary issues, on the wrong side of 27.

3rd round pick sounds about right. you'd expect sides lacking runners and looking to be in the top 8 would look at him, which would rule the dees out (thank goodness - the last thing we need is another player with iffy foot skills), but might include the likes of sydney, carlton, st. kilda.

only thing is, he's probably more valuable to collingwood than a 3rd round pick - his pace is a big asset for them.

Rhyse Shaw isn't that bad. Got brownlow votes in two games and had a very good start to the season. Whether the Collingwood haters on here like it or not he will attract interest. I would think a third rounder would be enough.

I laugh even more at the fact that you are unlisted
