I've got an idea, sparked as a result of constant idiotic posts by Richmond supporters. Make a 22 out of combined Richmond and Carlton lists,
eg.

Betts Fevola Pettifer

Gibbs Richardson Fisher

The idea is to see how many Richmond players you would actually prefer over having a Carlton player fill that possition.
Note: My example isnt what i would have, im just stumped for Richmond names.

I've got an idea -

Lets not bother - The tossers from their club coming on here want to compare lists drafting etc. etc.
Winning certainly has something to do with this however.

Cartlon have - Have a winning culture in its veins. In it's change rooms, in it's photo's, on it's lockers and in it's board room.

Harris, Elliot, Lofts, Nicholls, Johnston, Doull, Kernahan, Williams and Ratten did not accept defeat.
When a game was close they would will their side over the line.
A young player would lift and do his bit.

The tosser Richmond supporters would not know what this is like to have at their club.

They can compare lists all they like.

Judd chose Carlton because it had a culture of success - No not recent but it was there and he could see was back.

He chose not to go to Richmond because they basically have the opposite.

Waste of time, Richmond are a rabble and everyone knows it. It's not us who live in a fairy land with clowns running the helm ala Terry 'I live in the Bahamas' Wallace and Ian 'I'll try to keep everyone honest because i don't know how to do my job' Miller.

Let it go. Actions speak louder than words. We'll see round what happens in round 1.

Greg. Appreciate having something to read over the off season but really, people don't have to sit around scratching their heads to come up with thread topics. Too many ridiculously contrived threads being started just for the sake of it. Supporters are happy to wait for something to happen and then comment rather than all this "who will wear what number, how will we go in 08, who's your favourite player of all time?" (how many times that one) crap that gets regurgitated on here. I've probably been guilty of it myself. Enough already. Leave the crystal-ball stuff alone and stick to the footy. That is all.

There would be few Carlton players that would make our Best 22 i must admit.

We have a superior forward line, superior ruck division, superior defense.

Perhaps Judd onto a wing, and Stevens on the bench. But other than that, i really cant see any room...

i wouldn't worry there bitching cause they got the woodenspoon they can keep away until they have actually won a Premiership until then they shouldn't be too cocky ;)

haha i like it how Carlton love their culture of winning and all, so much so that they lose the last 11 or so games of 07'.
But notice how i didnt say they tanked- they didnt, they just wernt good enough.
The test of the two lists was the late in the season game against Bombers for both teams...Carlton lost, Richmond won.

And as if Betts makes the forward pocket, when Richmond has a super star (not even the most feral, arrogant carlton fan couldnt admit hes a gun) in Nathan Brown. Browny would get into the forward pocket of any mixture of Richmond and another team, no matter who the other team was.
