i asked the same question a few weeks ago and got told that it would be after the nab cup

I'm not certain but normally they have a decent hit out at the end of their 3 day community camps - this year it is at Craigeburn and is on next week.

Going to be interesting up at Craigieburn. Went for a drive with the kids tonight to see how things are progressing since we moved from there(damn I regret that now). The ground has had the turf laid, foal posts up but the place is still fenced off as a building site so I'm wondering just how the camp will run.

The turf has been laid for some time so that shouldnt be an issue. It's probably just there to deter people who would want to use the oval for their personal use. If not, are there other suitable grounds in the area?

In a word NO!

Most of the other grounds are rather dead and I wouldn't send my worst enemy out to play footy on them let alone a team of highly paid AFL players. There seemed to be one ground next to the school that looked to be in fairly good nick, they could use that as trying to get fans in to watch them at the training facility might pose OH&S issues

For those interested though there will be plenty of parking near the new ground and there is a track that goes around the whole ground. Next year when it is fully up and running it will be a great place to take the kids and watch them train.

I asked Jade Rawlings about the first scratch match. He said in about 2 weeks. the ground isn't confirmed yet, neither is the time.

Well if that's the case.....Sunday 15th February @ Subiaco Oval.
