Way before my time but for his legacy to be so strong until today you can only admire his career. True legend of the club and he'll be remembered fondly by thousands. Condolences to his family and friends.

The Godfather of our great football club. He had a presence about him that very few could come close to.
My old man went to his first Carlton game as a kid. He's now in his 80's.
His 3 favorite Carlton players of all are Ken Hands, Johnny James and Jezza.
In later years, Ken Hands moved into the same street as the ol man. He used to get giddy still when Ken would walk past the house on his evening walk.

My heart felt condolences goes out to the family of friends of Ken Hands. Coming as it does just before Christmas, they will be doubly shattered.

i knew Ken on a personal level and he was a great person (to me). he would always light up when i asked him about his 2 premiership years even though his memory was waning. i will miss him greatly. To his son John, his family and too the Navy blue army i offer my deepest sympathy on this sad day. RIP Ken

Carlton Legend who gave so much to the club. He’d never have imagined from his late 60’s onwards that he’d not see another Carlton flag. Let’s not let this rot carry on for much longer. That’s what the big fella would want.
