Saints circling big time on Frawley. I have heard they went pretty hard at the end of last year and will go doubly hard this year. Thankfully Chip is contracted and seems loyal, but if he keeps on playing in a team that coughs up 80 inside 50s then I can see him being tempted by offers.

Maybe, but Saints are one team we should get a leg over in the next few years. Ross Lyon's total lack of development of junior players for 5 odd years has left a fat hole in their list. Most of Riewoldt, Kosi, Dal Santo, Milne, Fisher, Hayes, Montagna, Dempster, Blake, etc will be gone in two years. If we haven't moved above them in the pecking order by then, we'll be rebuilding more rebuilds.

If Sylvia goes, he along with the retirement of Davey will free up a heap of cap space, probably prefer him to go, as he will be 28 before years end and still yet to peak.

As for Watts, i'm honestly not fussed either way. He's been around long enough to be more than what he is. It would still take a decent trade to let him go, but i'd be open to all legitimate offers.

Oh great, so we can pay Michael Evans or someone 500K a year then. I'd rather keep Sylvia.

The difference being that the experienced generation to follow those - players such as McEvoy, Steven, Armitage, Dempster, Geary, Stanley, Saad etc. - looks decent compared to ours.

What everyone else has said above. But also, you have a lloooottt of top end picks to try and hold onto (many of whom would be missing home). I wouldn't be worrying about nabbing other club's players, when you're the ones about to have 17 other clubs circling yours.
