Would have liked for Macreadie to be retained but some are closer to the action than we are.
Really happy to see Jones in the team (as much as I can't believe I'm saying that), his form in the 2's from what I've watched has been great and just hope he can carry that through on Sunday.

Graham had 20 touches but he looked slow and there wasn't much impact in his possessions. It was a Tom Mitchell type game just with 30 less possies.

I'd give him three weeks then if he has shown nothing we can.
You realise simply playing heaps of kids for the sake of it against the best team in the comp who's running power is their no.1 asset would be a disaster right?
We'd get flogged by 10 goals+ and the kids wouldn't 'develop' from the game even slightly.
We have more than enough kids still in the team to be excited about: Weitering, SOSOS, Curnow, Cuningham, Fisher & Williamson from the last 2 drafts alone...then you could add Sumner, Plowman & Marchbank too. That's already a really high number.
**** you could even add Cripps & Docherty to that list as well given their age but they feel like elder statesmen.

Yep it was a nail in the coffin type game for me, physically and mentally very slow - think we'd do well to let him have a crack elsewhere.

I know a few are meh..... on the selections but I think the changes are good. Youngsters just can't be given games week after week regardless of performance, there will be more to follow. Much opportunity for the kids though, they will still be given a lot of game time.
