Yeah that won't happen. Only in Australia or New Zealand during their height of summer would that even work in a practical sense. Actually I think this is all moot. That's just a stupid answer. There's absolutely no reason why you couldn't penalise a side runs, if you did sides wouldn't go anywhere near falling short they'd adjust.

In all seriousness, Warne needs to shut up. 25 runs for each over that isn't bowled in a day is waaaaay too much, which was my point. I'd say 5 runs per over would be acceptable, and 10 overs borderline but would fix the problem.

But the problem is that there is no desire within ICC circles to fix this problem. It's essentially bigfooty bants for how meaningful or significant it is.

It would actually break alot of barriers and prejudice etc the same way our players have now been accepted and deified over there through the IPL (Maxwell excepted lol sehwag). If their players performed wearing our domestic colours they'd be "us" not them the way the media likes to divide us
