What a bloody crap effort. May as well have stayed home and forfeited the match. Did the GC players have body odour or something? Never went near them. Just let them do whatever they liked. I can’t honestly remember us having such a low score in a game ever before while I’ve been watching. Abysmal.

And one for the umpires. How can a player be tackled 3 times, not dispose of the ball in any correct way, and not be pinged for holding the ball?

one of the easiest way to fix up the umpiring debacle is let all umpires have equal power with decisions.....not just the one closest to the action. so many times umpire will swallow whistle and give ball hogs too much time, but 3 other umps see the obvious but won't intervene.

I stopped watching after it became clear that the holding the ball rule doesn't apply to Matt Rowell. What a joke. That guy could do a 720 whilst being tackled and it would still be called a ball up or free kick to him.

bloke is a head ramming machine, getting thru 3 legal tackles because your as strong as an ox aint right because he knows he can't be man handled and he soaks em up

having prior is actually when he has head down and barging thru legit tackles. but umps ignore his ugly rugby style and still give him 7-8 seconds, rowell knowing he cant be slammed, so with arms and legs everywhere he often gets a high clip late....free kick to no.18, it sucks. marlion pickett would stop him but his brutal style has mainly been at a risk of suspension these days.
