They mentioned Rioli had a slight foot injury at the VFL.
In that case, in: Graham, Martin, Townsend.
Out: Higgins, Menadue, Miles.

He did but after the game they showed he Bolton & Stengle doing sprints out on the ground , so hopefully all good there

Clearly I’m speaking to an intellect here, so I’ll leave you to it. Thanks for keeping the Richmond stereotype alive.

I honestly wouldn't be including dusty Sunday, we have the bye next week which would mean he would get three weeks off to get right if he doesn't play this week. Considering he has been slightly down on 2017, surely it would be beneficial in the long run to give him those 3 weeks.

Had we beaten Port, they could afford to rest Dusty again vs Geel. We didn't, so top 2 is at stake. If he's fit, he plays.

Dimma actually said had our game been on Sunday Dusty would have played, couldn't have been that bad an injury if thats the case, would think he plays.

We need to play everyone from our best 22 if they are even remotely fit this week. Cats have owned us for far too long. When was the last time we beat the Cats twice in a row? A long bloody time ago, that's when.

Talk of resting players, FFS they've got a bye coming up the following week. Destroy the Cats and then rest up.

I bloody hate the cats.

No actual cats were harmed in this rant despite how much I hate the Cats and how much they have beaten us over the years. Especially Gary Ablett in the 90's and his stupid goalkicking record against us.
:-O

If West Coast manage to win on the Friday Night, would you still believe we couldn't afford to rest dusty?. Does it really matter if Geelong goes into top 2, the game would still be at the G. Not like we cant't re-gain a top 2 spot later on, if we were to lose as a result of resting him.

Your probably right it might not be a bad injury, but surely it's too much of a coincidence that this injury has come during a slight form drop. That this slight form drop could be put down to playing with this injury that isn't going to get worse by doing so but is still affecting him. If this were the case and if having three weeks could get him from 80% to 100%, I'd do it. Might be totally off the mark, he is probably is fine. Just find it too much of coincidence.

Watching 7 news. Prestia and Houli are no hope. Astbury probably misses too. Martin not sure. Then there is the Rioli question. Team selection will be interesting this week. Reckon Astbury Won't come back until after bye.

My guess ins: Graham, Martin, Rioli (maybe) Townsend and maybe a debutant

The debutant being Garthwaite, with Broad to drop back to play Astbury's role.
