Charges Laid
Robert Warnock, Fremantle, has been charged with a Level One charging offence against Luke Ball, St Kilda, during the first quarter of the Round 13 match between Fremantle and St Kilda, played at Telstra Dome on Friday June 20, 2008.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level One offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has no good or bad record. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.

Thats fair... Pisses me off though that the AFL can consider what franklin did to be of the same nature as warnocks? absolute s h i t e!!!!

Some of the other players who got done for the head high contact were at least trying to go for the ball or shepherd... The hawks player alreayd had that guy wrapped up and buddy knew exactly what he was doing... Joke

No good or bad record? What a load of crap. If he's never been reported, he should have a good record regardless of how long he's been playing.

The same stupid rule cost Magic Johnson an extra week at the start of last year IIRC.

The report should've been thrown out. Knockers was always committed to the contest and the contact was a part of that. If he pulled out, he'd look like a squib, the St Kilda bloke would've taken an easy chest mark without having to brace himself for contact and Rob would've been dragged. Nathan Buckley alluded to this during the commentary, although not explicitly stating it. He did the right thing from the team perspective and got punished for it. Shame on you, AFL.

Good decision by the MRP. The reason it was judged the same as Buddy's is that it was Reckless Conduct (2 points) v Negligent (1) and Body (1) v Head (2).

Wasn't referring to the silly points system. Was suggesting that the two incidents don't stand up next to each other as deserving the same punishment.

he should have bloody well got off. if it wasn't for that clumsy bugger ball impaling his face in his knee it would have been a non issue. :thumbsd::mad::thumbsd::mad::thumbsd:

Should have been thrown out, what a joke, hardly touched him yet get's points. I guess the only interstate team that get's looked after by the tribunal is Sydney, cause i'm damn sure every other interstate side gets r*ped at the MRP/tribunal.

Would that have anything to do with the Sth Melbourne connection?

They got one right for a change.
How many games do you have to play before they include your record?
Yep BBP,no report = good record no matter how many games

5 years without any reports (that stick).

I think I remember Medders got done in his 5th year (his last with us), despite being on 90 odd games with no record - but they said he had "no good or bad record", and IIRC he ended up with a reprimand for whatever it was he did.

I reckon if a bloke is in his 5th year and on 90 games with no record... that's actually a pretty bloody good record...

Holy crap!! 5 yrs
22games(not years) seems to me would be heaps better any other ideas

So how does one get a good record? Letting someone else hit you?
