Really a fan of the kid, the guy is got more upside than big Sandi
 
He was terrific. Mind you, Gilmore dominated in the ruck at times; I felt embarrassed for the Bloooze "ruckman". But with Warnock it was his other work as well which was outstanding.

Quickly becoming my favourite (well, no chance he'll take pav's mantle) - so skillful for a man his size.

I am also on the bangwagon, great skills and agility for a bloke his size, could be something very special from what he's shown at AFL level so far :thumbsu:
 
looks like a top player. pretty mobile, has good skills and tap work.

freo will sign him for sure.
 
He lays a pretty mean tackle, must extra-length arms or something, they way he grabs people that you'd swear he wouldn't reach.
 
Robbie is a jet, love him, he does have more upside than sandi, he will become the best ruckman in the afl, like that ****ta eagle *****, sorry cox
 
Some great work today especially his tackling for a guy his size. Big fan of his. Well done big fella.

He killed it today. For a big man he is so agile and athletic. We should sign him up and use him as much as possible, one injury and he'll be finished i reckon, or at least the agility and athletic stuff he showed today.. brilliant stuff.

He needs to be eased in - no excessive game time for this guy at all. He is way too young and light to be doing the ruckwork on his own. Sandi is injured because he was forced to do too much for the first half of the season - we don't need Warnock suffering the same problem.

SIGN HIM NOW !! He will be as important to us as Pav is now. Not necessarily as dominant and a superstar but important to team structure and output.

I'm not convinced that 211 will be as good as Warnock. 211 is obviously a quality ruckman but has issues that weaken his strengths.

Sandi needs to improve his skills significantly by hand and foot beyond just swatting the ball down at bounces. How many times has Sandi shanked his kicks and dropped easy marks or looked to hand off the ball and thus put the receiver under pressure. His positioning could be better too - mobility is sometimes slow to anticipate play and get there.

Warnock has the potential to be better than Cox. He has good hand and foot skills, the thought processes to think thru the game. The ability to play as a mobile KPP . Where Sandi is a lug, Warnock moves around participating in the ball passage effortlessly and quickly.
 
According to David Schwarz is out of contract at the end of 2008. Get the extension done now. He is just one of those kids i have had a great feeling about since i read the wraps on him and seen highlights on draft day. Could be as good if not better than Little Cox IMO.

Without Sandi against the blues, this kid stood up and grabbed the game by its neck, Wasn`t overawed and played with confidence ...

Really positive about him...:thumbsu:

Just the fact that Schwartz thinks Warnock may be struggling to get a game by next year shows he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Has he even bothered watching Freo this year? We only have two ruckmen and with Sandi down Warnock is our number 1 guy. Something tells me he won't have any problem getting a regular game from here on in.

What i quoted there was just the contract bit, he said before that how he is the next big thing and could be one of the best this time next year.

Bolded need to be done ASAP. Dodd and Jeff i have no worries about cos the chances they will leave are just about non existent.
