Its a damn shame for him and the club.
There was some great match-up opportunities for Robbo over the next few weeks. With all the other injuries we have the medics must be working overtime

And that would be a shame why mel40 hehe

Nah go eags i hope if he comes into the side we'll need him playing the way he did against geelong.

No reason, im just saying if he does come in then he needs to play better than he has been, its not just eags, a lot of the players have to play better.

Ok I'll get bagged for this.
Eagleton for Robbo in the Bp?
make or break?

It's not a bad idea when you think about it. It also might be a great match-up between him and Milne when we play the Saints.
What about McMahon to the BP ? Might be able to do a job similar to the Saints Clarke

Right
Who ever plays BP is forced to go hard at the ball. There are 2 players who need that exactly. McMahon may be too slight? Where's Contessa?

I think Eagle is a good choice and only nominated McMahon because it would be good for his development.
With the rate of injuries, Picken might have to come into consideration and I'm not joking.

Yes Picken.
Again it will make or break him! Not a stupid idea considering the injuries we have.

He could be worth a try ahead of Eagle. How many good games has he played apart from the Geelong one - any?

Poor robbo :( Hope ya come back soon Robbo, we will miss ya heaps in our backline.

Gilbee is due to return this week, is he the man for a back pocket roll?

Please don't bring Eagleton back into the team.................. ever.

I was a big fan of his and willing to give him every opportunity but was bitterly dissapointed with his efforts against Richmond. He didn't just play badly he pulled out of contests and shirked the physical work on at least 3 separate occassions. Obviously is scared of getting hit or something because it was very soft and did not look good at all from my POV. A few few of the commentators picked up on it as well.

Robbins - hard running, tough, defensive type player, shown courage time and time again this year

Eagleton - soft, 'attacking' player, does not put body in and would not know the meaning of the word courage.

Doesn't seem like a good swap to me. Maybe we could take the opportunity to add another bigger body to the team, Harris perhaps. We still have a fair few smaller blokes in the team, isn't this a chance to blood another big bloke and ease the height presure in the backline?

Unbelievable
Players have been backing into packs since time began but rarely do they break vertabrae in their necks. Robbo is just all courage and guts and in a team of mostly unaccountable players he stands out like a beacon. Rest him up,let him heal and get him back as soon as possible.
When he comes back after a severe injury like this I bet he plays the same way because that is the only way he knows.

Had it been Archer or someone like that they'd all be saying how courageous the act was! Robbo has recently been the personifcation of the word, its a shame that he's been injured but thats what people love about the footy IMO, players putting their bodies on the line for their jumper regardless of the possible outcomes.

He wasn't even paid the mark

He has been one of our best and most consistant players all year, averaging 18 possies and 6 kicks out of d50 week in and week out, and keeping his opponent under control.

hopefully he can be playing good footy again in 6 weeks.

No Eagleton.

Robbo's one of the most courageous players at the club, imo. To replace him with Eagle would be a disaster.

Hopefully some of th eyoung guys have a look at just how much he puts in and try to replicate that, cos the only way we can win this week is to be though.
