Apart from the heart ache of yesterdays defeat. It was just so refreshing to Robbo back out there. If you cut this guy open i am positive you would find a massive heart and red and blue blood running though his vains. Pitty the captain of the club does not show as much emotions as Robbo (i am not Netiz Bashing).

Just while i am hear i am sick of all the brad miller bashers out there i thought he was great yesterday always leading up the ground and providing a contest if not marking the ball. How old is this guy 22? give the kid a chance when Netiz goes he will be the number one man.

Also why did Paul Johnson play on in the goal square? Happy he is in rather then Jamar

Below is Something that was on the Goldcoast Kangaroos forum get into them

Most of us have always known there was something strange and weird about Melbourne FC and its culture.

After a day at a windy MCG yesterday, there were plenty of examples of that.

They are a funny lot, Melbourne. You know you're playing the Dees when MCC area is almost full yet a crowd is only 30k. You know you're playing the Dees when the crowd is dead quiet in all areas except a pocket of the Northern stand and the cheer squad area.

The way their sterotype supporters look and dress is a story in itself. Not all of them mind you, but a good 80% of them fall into that category.

I reckon another club could merge with Melbourne and end up keeping its colours and name and nobody would kick up any fuss about it.

Or you could put them into the VFL, and they probably wouldn't mind, provided you let them play at the MCG.

They are a club that has NO permanent training base, no huge supporter numbers and a very apathetic ones at that. So what keeps all the AFL pressure off them? A Melbourne name?

I wish them well, and fell somewhat sorry for them yesterday. But still, it's hard not to smile when you look at them...

melb with its membership we would be right up there, as we have 20k of mcc members that are melbourne supporters.

not many people relize this

Miller is 23/24, not 22. He should be traded/delisted at the end of the year.
Who gives a stuff about what other clubs say about us on their forums, we have a better list than the Kangas anyway and will win a flag before them.

Since when did anything a Kangaroos fan said matter?

We may have voted to become the Melbourne Hawks, but at least Melbourne members get a say with what happens to the club, they get nothing.

You have to understand they are just upset that no matter how badly we go we’re going to stay in Melbourne and be called Melbourne, yet in the same 0-9 situation even more past Roos ‘greats’ would be calling for them to move North to become the Gold Coast (Is there any left who haven’t?).

As for bagging what supporters wear well gee that's really fascinating insightful stuff.

It was great seeing Robbo back on the weekend. His work ethic to get the ball is fantastic and his passion is unquestionable. Not sure about the criticism of Neitz though, he shows plenty of emotion for his club. Dunno what the rest of the post is for when the thread is apparently about Robbo.

Was great to watch Robbo out there yesterday and show some determination and spirit, something that is lacking with the Demons at the moment.

Good player and great clubman from my observations.

Anyone who thinks that merger vote wasn't rigged to **** is deluded. The pro-merge directors must have worn their credit cards out buying so many memberships.

Tell me about it. I was there at Dallas Brooks Hall on the night of the vote. What a shambles. The NO votes that were lodged on that night easily defeated the YES votes, so it was those bogus proxies that got the vote over the line by just a few hundred. Not only did they treat you like a Guest at Guests, but they also treated you to a free MFC membership.
