Apart from the heart ache of yesterdays defeat. It was just so refreshing to Robbo back out there. If you cut this guy open i am positive you would find a massive heart and red and blue blood running though his vains. Pitty the captain of the club does not show as much emotions as Robbo (i am not Netiz Bashing).
Just while i am hear i am sick of all the brad miller bashers out there i thought he was great yesterday always leading up the ground and providing a contest if not marking the ball. How old is this guy 22? give the kid a chance when Netiz goes he will be the number one man.
Also why did Paul Johnson play on in the goal square? Happy he is in rather then Jamar
Below is Something that was on the Goldcoast Kangaroos forum get into them
Most of us have always known there was something strange and weird about Melbourne FC and its culture.
After a day at a windy MCG yesterday, there were plenty of examples of that.
They are a funny lot, Melbourne. You know you're playing the Dees when MCC area is almost full yet a crowd is only 30k. You know you're playing the Dees when the crowd is dead quiet in all areas except a pocket of the Northern stand and the cheer squad area.
The way their sterotype supporters look and dress is a story in itself. Not all of them mind you, but a good 80% of them fall into that category.
I reckon another club could merge with Melbourne and end up keeping its colours and name and nobody would kick up any fuss about it.
Or you could put them into the VFL, and they probably wouldn't mind, provided you let them play at the MCG.
They are a club that has NO permanent training base, no huge supporter numbers and a very apathetic ones at that. So what keeps all the AFL pressure off them? A Melbourne name?
I wish them well, and fell somewhat sorry for them yesterday. But still, it's hard not to smile when you look at them...
