Robert Walls at it again...

There's a bit more to it than that. We will be in limbo for awhile when the trio retires. But the future is bright.

Carlton's depth is an issue. But a few more drafts for both sides should reinforce their respective lists.

So sick of the 'old people retire so essendon will suck' stuff. We've hardly been relying on them lately have we?

True but they're out on the park, we'll have to find new and or existing kids to fill the spots and wait for them to blossom.

It's hardly surprising to read something like that from Robert Walls.

The stats don't lie though, and realistically Carlton are the 4th best side in the competition, they've just choked in a couple of games so far this season.

The thing that shits me the most from that article is this passage:

"Tonight on football's biggest stage, Carlton should prove it has the desire to more than match whatever the Bombers put up. If not, the Blues will be a huge disappointment. Carlton fans now have very high expectations. Essendon fans have hope and are enjoying the ride, knowing it could come to a halt any time soon."

He is essentially saying that no matter how well we play tonight, if Carlton don't win they have been a disappointment and as an extension not performend to their abilities.

Sick of ****wits not giving credit when it is due.

Robert Walls has done a James Hird Fab Four article, and all the majority of the tipsters in the age haven't tipped us. I'm confident now

Couldn't give a stuff what Walls has to say; couldn't give a stuff what the media has to say at all for that matter. If we can go out onto the 'G' tonight and execute our gameplan, the rest will take care of itself.

Pretty simple.

He said that who ever loses tonight won't make the finals.

1. Carlton lose: They'll make the finals anyway, hindered by an easy run home, and Robert Walls will be talking them up, saying how great they are.

2. Carlton Win: They win, Robert Walls was right, they make the finals, right again.

The only way he loses is if they don't make the finals, which looks unlikely.

Im getting sick of it to mate. Lloyd has kicked 24 goals this year, Lucas 11 and Fletcher has missed some games which shows our young KPD will take his role when he retires.

i think it will be in 2 years time when lloyd and lucas have retired we will have two young kpf kicking more then 70 goals a year between them. I dont think thats two much to ask from our current tallent. I know there is more two it then just goals however i think we can cover them in all aspects except experience pretty well.

Carlton's depth is an issue.
It is?

We have three best 22 players out due to injury who would add a hell of a lot to our structure.

Hadley, Russell, Cloke, Bentick, Wiggins and Fisher aren't playing after being best 22 players in the past.

They'd be playing if our depth was poor.

I hope he is commentating somewhere tonight and that he bags out Ryder again, so that Ryder can **** on his face again. Your a moron Robert!

Exactly my point.

Rubbish players.

It's not so much poor as it is untested, compared to our depth. I mean, you haven't really needed to call on to your depth that much have you?

One of Robert's better articles, to be fair.

Though Blues can probably afford to drop this game and still make the 8 given their run and percentage.

you know why his such an idiot? because he play and coach for those bastards calrotn. his a donkey and cant even grow a proper beard!

All STARS of CarlTANK's last Wooden Spoon!

O'hAilpin, Armfield, Austin, Browne, Grigg and Bower. The fact of the matter is Hadley, Russell, Cloke, Bentick, Wiggins and Fisher are all better than those names I mentioned in the previous sentence. Your depth players are in your team... hence you'd get a shallacking this evening if we knew how to bury a team... a comfortable victory is coming our way nonetheless!

They'd be playing if our depth was poor.

How's this, Hille, McPhee, McVeigh?

Myers, Jetta, Nash, Houli, Quinn, Bellchambers, Laycock, Daniher, Hurley and Zaharakis.
