Just our luck, one of our few good players that had actually improved rather than going backwards and something like this happens.

Hopefully they can sort out the problem and he can get back to playing next year, would be a real shame if it ended up career ending.

On the contrary (from a team perspective) i think this could be a blessing in disguise.

He and jake really do play the same role, and no team can really afford to have 2 freewheeling +1 defenders.

Jake will be all australian this year now the path is cleared for him to play his preferred style.

Hope Robbo gets back in the game again, but priority is quality of life and with a young family, playing again is really the lowest priority, so I hope that his heart doesn't give him more problems and good luck with the coaching course!

Dear god, Andy Maher just played Robbos msg on SEN and then proceeded to tell everyone how bad his concussion was and that sports people worldwide are taking concussions really seriously so it’s good to see our club looking more into concussions.

Never heard of a heart related concussion

Hey Saints fans, really sorry to hear that Dylan Roberton’s season looks to be over. It was pretty scary to watch him pass out on TV the other week. Hopefully they can work out what is wrong and he can continue to live a healthy life.
Goodluck for the rest of the season and just remember all the bad times will make the good times better. It took us 72 years to win one afterall.

We all hope the very best for Dylan first and foremost and we have all said that. Make no mistake this is of the upmost importance.
From a Saints petspective we should look at this like an ACL and see where he is in 2019.

Get yourself right and we all hope to see you back in Saints colours.

Thinking of his family. Hope everything works out for him. I believe the three month's off is just simply a precaution, and with issues involving the heart I think we need to take as much precaution as possible.

He is a great fella and wishing him all the best.

Horrible news but his health is the main priority.
I hope to see him back out there one day.
Its good to hear he will be joining our defensive coaches to help out.
Also, it means Brandon White (Extended run at it) or another young fella gets his chance to prove himself.

Sure he wasn't talking about Stevens?

Dylon will be a loss, but it is fantastic that he is receiving the correct medical advice. Nothing we do is that important that we would harm our players. Consider what happened at Essendon. In the end it is just footall and Dylon has played so well for us. I hope he returns, but if he doesn't he has had a great career.

As others have said , I just hope he gets better , footy is not that important compared to being a father and husband for his young family . Maybe he will one day play again as we all would like as he is a great player for us , fingers crossed that he recovers.

Go Saints
