Good when he has it, but is even better when he doesn't have the ball.
Defensive pressure in our forward 50 is something we've been lacking. Nahas is going some way to addressing that. Are you listening Nathan, Mitch and Kayne?

Isn't it fantastic to see a young kid grow 10ft tall over the space of 5 or 6 games...great rate of improvement, really backs himself and tremendous courage for such a bantam weight...well done fella:thumbsu:

Hopefully he doesn't do a Cleve and go backwards after a big outing against Port.

I doubt he will, he really wants it. You can see it. His celebration after his 5th showed how much emotion the little guy has. He will be an All-Australian some day if he can get more of the pill to go along with his A+ defensive efforts.

loved nahas today. Worked hard and did some really smart things.

Nathan Brown is a disgrace and should get a video of Nahas and be made to watch it.

Nathan Brown has lost interest in football.

one think we have done really well with over the wallace era is our rookie draft selections. I think it will be hard to top nathen foley as our most inpired selection but robbie nahas will go close. The boy has added an element to our team which we havent had for a long long time, a cruming forward who is just as damaging with his chasing and tackling. Hopefully the team meeting has a big highlights package of rob showing his disire to do the team things.

Probably the greatest quality of a decent AFL Footballer.

Nahas is growing in Stature. Has wits and hopefully his teammates are realising to kick it in front of him instead of over his head.

Amazing how we have been calling out for a player like this for more than 10 years, we get one and he stars.

I had serious doubts about his size(Weight, not height) before we drafted him and I will be open in saying I didn't want him, but now I don't want him to go!

Chases, runs all day and never gives up, his kicking is getting on track now too.

yep, he's bloody tiny, but you cant help but luv a guy that backs himself the way he does and really give 100% ALL of the time:thumbsu:
I have it on good authority Bo, that not all of him is tiny. Good luck to the kid. :thumbsu:

Love him. Like you said Tugga everytime he gets it something happens and everytime he doesn't have it he chases and busts his ass off. If only some of our other boys could take a leaf out of his book.

Yep. I was a bit worried after his first few games he was going to be another VFL specialist but the effort finally came for his hard work today. :thumbsu:

Think your being a bit hard on Brown and Pettifer though. Brown showed today his class has been missed from the team and Pettifer worked hard and did a lot of things he's not noted for. Morton on the other hand - according to the commentators he was dropped for not doing the team things, then with a minute and a half to go he tries to be the hero and win the game off his own foot. I'm all for taking the game on, as I've been saying all week. But geez, you've got to have a bit of thought about the state of play with a slight lead and under 2 minutes to go.

Think he's talking more about defensive pressure and tackles, between the three(Morton, Pettifer and Brown) they had 3 tackles, Nahas on his own had 5.

seemed pretty deflated when i talked to him briefly on his way to the bus today. if he has lost interest as you suggest i would think he wouldnt care when he clearly did.

Browny has been robbed of a couple years of footy, Id reckon he'd be dead keen to extend his career...a dozen more games like todays and he just might...I hope he does, its a damn sight better than what was served up earlier

Nahas has brought a spark to the team that hasn't been present for I dont know how ****en long!!!

What a little gun.

Reminds me of a 1980s player :thumbsu:

Is Nahas able to stay on the list till seasons end ? He was a rookie elavation wasnt he ? ....... Just guessing Kane Johnson was on the injury list and will most likely play at some stage for a farewell game at least .. Not sure the situation with Polak , surely he wont play but is he on the long term injury list.

Is there a time frame when rookies must go back ??? Or is he able to stay on the list as long as a player is out injured ???
