My system is like this .....

lol - Tiny smile/Laugh. Sometimes i just use it to keep the conv going. Haha.

haha - Blah that was horrible BUT i'll be polite.

lmao - I laugh loud. Like 'Hahahahaha'

lmfao - Laughing for about 2 minutes. usely i don't even say that intil 3 minutes is up.

rofl - Dropping to my knees laughing. Never happens though because there are some lame ****s out there

roflmfa This never happens but if it does i'll laugh pretty hard and then fall asleep.

My "system" used for MSN, etc:

hehe - a polite laugh, you were trying to be funny, so i'll give you some sort of response
lol - as above, but used when something is not as lame, also used in uncomfortable situations or to carry on a conversation
lmao/rofl - pretty funny, made me smile... maybe
haha - haha is kind of a wildcard, flip it out and it could mean "lol" or if the length is increased (eg. hahaha) it could mean as much as LMAO/ROFL.
LOL - pretty damn funny, made me laugh hard on the inside
LMAO/ROFL - actually made me laugh out loud
ROFLMAO - as above, but rarely used, only for extreme occasions

:D
