who in their right mind would want to pay top dollar to see a band of aging 70 year old rock stars from the sixties prancing around in wheel chairs trying to sing/play songs like Satisfaction & Angie.

Works for me when showing off to the missus ...

Aside for arsehats like you, who recalls the specific AC/DC surface issues at Docklands? Granted the Docklands has surface issues at the best of times... but no-one recalls "Ohhh AC/DC farked up the surface before this/that game" except for a handful Norf fans. On the other hand if the AC/DC show was cancelled due to AFL fans protesting over the damage to the surface: embarrassing "AC/DC Cancelled Due to AFL Concerns" headlines would reach around the world.

Oh, of course. Forgive me, I didn't realise it was only North supporters who had any concerns over the Docklands surface after the concerts.

As for "world headlines"...... It'll be a venue change. Apart from the Adelaide press and dicks here on BF, no one in the world is going to give two stuffs about where the Rolling Stones are playing a concert in Australia.

Have to laugh at the Adelaide Oval ground commission, already worried that the Crows and Power wont bring enough revenue in to pay off the renovations they have had to look to a bunch of geriatric's to help pay off the interest payment

Actually that was the first thing that I thought of when they said that the concert was going to be held a week before the first game.

After the concert at the Docklands the surface was a dogs breakfast even more than usual even though they used the mats that were meant to protect the surface and didn't come right until they replaced the whole playing surface.

I would put up my John Travolta impersonation against your Mick Jagger jigger any day of the week.

But mine makes the missus giggle, a jiggle for a giggle ... :D
