Being loyal to a bunch of has beens, or losing draft picks is the thing that will hold us back for the next 5 years if we dont re-build correctly in 2004 and 2005.

Im a dedicated crows supporter like all of you guys here, I only want the best for my footy team and I seriously dont see a team dominated by older players giving half arsed efforts every week .. that are 2-7 get any respect by me, or anyone.


Its time to rebuild, its way overdue. We may have done a mini rebuild after 99, but still the core of the team was still from the mid 90's.

Apart from maybe 3-4 players, the majority of the list have disgraced and disrespected the crows jumper this season.

Your posts were not inappropriate in that they required deleting full-stop - however, thought you were ruining a good thread with posts irrelevant to the topic - so I gave you your very own thread. If you don't like your posts, you can delete them yourself.

I've met the great man and a bigger Crow supporter you will not find, he travels everywhere following them, goes to all the games, is AFC devoted 110%.

Really, some of the stuff he says, though maybe tongue-in-cheek, has some merit. It's been well documented and thoroughly discussed, but doing a Melbourne (of last year) and finishing 15th with less than 5 and a half wins is more beneficial to us than ending 2004 in 9th or 10th.

Sure, you wouldn't want to finish so diabolically and you wouldn't want to engineer it that way, but scraping 10 wins together and missing the finals from this stage of the season is mostly useless. 15th would hurt terribly but in the long run.....

Anyway, Melo was just letting off some steam...keep up the good work compadre.
