Here is a bit of info on Adam Pickering from Carlton
Adam Pickering
Joined the Blues from Craigieburn via the Calder Under 18s as a Rookie List player in 2000 and was promoted to the senior list during the 2001 season, remaining on the list in 2002. He played 5 games in 2002, taking his total to 7 after making his AFL debut in round 19 of the 2001 season.

What have we done?
Nicholls, Fleming, Pickering, and no name Moore.
Surely in this country full of talented young footballers, we should have done better then this.
Ednie has showed more then any of these hacks.

I reckon we should have re-drafted Poyas, I think Billy Nichols will be alright if he can stay injury free.
Agree with you there to an extent there crackertiger, what can we think about Moore when he's come from Yarra Valley Anglican School, where is that BTW.

Wow that is ahell of a bump.
yes i can remember when we drafted him. It was a Greg Miller speculative pick. Went outside the U18's.
Took a punt and it paid off - well done Greg on this one.
Have to say i reckon Moore's done alright

moore was before miller december 2002
he was a greg beck special. Moore had trained with melbourne pre season, and luckily our pick was before theirs.
He came to prominance beacuse of his elte 100m speed. He was a schoolboy champion and could run under 10.8 seconds.
He has taken 6 years to make it.
I believe he is a good lesson in having patience in the right youngsters, if they have the tools like moore, they are worth the investment
