What sort of player is Hamp ? Tall forward isn't it. Could be a useful player a few years down the track and put pressure on Wilson,Kennedy etc for a spot.

192cm lead up forward, supposedly a reasonable kick on goal but inconsistent

I just had a look in my "Inside Footy Draft Special" and Hamp seems to be about the same height as Darling, but lighter (193cm compared to 191cm but only 83kg as against Darlings 94kg). We seem to be drafting key position forwards and ruckmen for the future this time around.

Well looks like we have solved our small forward problem :(

We've got a number of blokes who can play small forward.

You really only have room for one genuine pocket - and we've recruited a number of blokes who could fill that role - at least until they mature to become midfielders

Neates, Broomes, Weedon, Hams - how many do you want to fill one position?

McGovern is a good pick up . I have watched the Claremont colts and Jeremy has played well. I dont see him as a AFL ruckman but he is a KPP. In the second semi C v EF he did a number on Chalwell. McGovern is very strong in the air and has sticky fingers.

I know that many of you will be disapointed but I am happy with this pick.

Albeit .... we didnt address our small crumbing forward.
