Agree...Mora is just what iur backline needs right now. A big body, bulk pace and long attacking hoof and mindset. Plus we need a feel good story.

I want Mora to be upgraded and played ASAP.

But what I want and what he needs may be different. If he gets upgraded and brought in before finding any consistency he may feel the game has passed him and hang up the boots.

I would love to see him get some consistency in the WAFL before being brought in for what has to be his last chance (pending injury). If he has to play out the year in the WAFL, give him another 12 months and then make a decision. If he gets injured again, the club has gone above and beyond what is required and we should part ways with him.

But geez I hope he gets a run off half back, runs the length of the field and kicks a goal.

And if he doesn't do that, I hope he has better luck in life post AFL.

Give Mora 4-6 games at Peel. As Ross pointed out in the Presser he has had 5 games in 5 years and 2 of them were as sub!

Smith should probably get an opportunity at some point.

Deluca may get a chance, has been on the list a bit longer but would really need to burn at Pee to get a look in at a position we are decently stocked a.

The other lads are on 2 year deals aren't they? So no stress to play them unless they warrant selection. Nyhuis was playing reserves a few weeks ago wasn't he? Uebergang is still raw, would need a few bags to get a look in.

Think Mora would have got some confidence & motivation from seeing how well Menzel at the cats is going in their Seniors after having undergone similar multiple recons...

Ross will go back to the plodders before he names Ueber, Nyhuis or Hurley and so he should provided there's nothing else left in the right position. Morabito and Smith would not get embarrassed at AFL level as has been seen previously and are genuine options if injuries strike.

Not sure how Decula would go. Is built enough that he would at least not get bullied by experienced opponents.

We should probably look at putting Fyfe and Balic on the LTI list sooner rather than later in case one makes a spectacular recovery & we need them because they become unavailable even to Peel for 8 weeks from that date. But there's no point upgrading someone until we're ready to play them in case we promote the wrong player

Don't put balic on LTI but Johnson (32 years old) , a lot people here don't understand me when I said ibbo,gu kind of player need to go if we serious about rebuild, they won't develop much in WAfL compare to player age 19-25 range. JPod of cats play vfl and go to first team not the other way round. If we really interested for stop gap player then we must be in premiership mode, just look at cloke now get so much paid playing in VFL.

Eg- Western bulldog

They draft mature age Adams at 22 and got kieran collins at 19 too , either one of them not in best 22 can easily develop their game in vfL compare 27-29 age player.

Totally with you on that. Smiths debut was the stuff of nightmares; Hale dined out on him all day. But the game against Port he showed much more. We have more LTI's at the moment that I can remember, so if not now - when?

The best I said so far is he is developing well in WAfL ,don't keep attacking me that I wanted him to be upgrade just because I am tracking his progress in WAfL level same with nyhuis.
