Would be surprised if he got the nom. Had a ripper last quarter and kicked two fantastic goals but statistically didn't have a huge game and is an Adelaide player so he has no chance anyway.

Some other kid from another team will rack up 25 touches and get it.

If anyone was to get it from our team I would actually give it to Phil, rewards consistency and another good defensive scalp on a dangerous forward line.

Yeah, I adore Sloane but he would only get the nom this week if nobody else made a case. He's got desire in a bottle, but he was a nonentity for too long in the early part of the game.

Gee I loved his efforts at the end when the game were on the line though


Meanwhile Henderson has to be one of the finds of the competition. People talk about Barlow and the like being picked up so late and turning out to be fantastic, but these are people that have been ignored simply because they weren't picked up when they were 17. Hendo hadn't played Aussie Rules in years when we found him and he plays like he was born with a footy in his hands.
