If they have another angle of the incident he could be in a bit of strife, depending on what the footage shows but from the angle that was showed on the big screen, its inconclusive at best.

I am more concerned about Johncock unless of course there is a different camera angle of the Roo incident.

If he missed him, then they would obviously judge it to be medium to high impact, if you actually connect then it seems this year you can get downgraded

Although it would suck, it may just be for the best. IMO Roo looks injured and a week off could do him the world of good.

The way they did it was like this:
"Roo, we're giving you a 1 week holiday...here's two tickets to the Bahamas for after the season. and a credit for the next time you really belt someone"

nah he didnt miss him, i'd say that decision is pretty fair, they've been protecting players with their head down low. roos prior record (knocking out selwood) wouldnta helped either.

Selwood was a 1 match ban wasn't it.

There is no extra loading for 1 match bans, only 2 or higher.
All it means is that he couldn't get the 25% discount for good behaviour.

Technically it was 3 games, but a good record and early guilty plea brought it down to one.

It looked to me like Roo got him. There was nothing in Johncock's 'punch', but it was still there and still could be a worry.
Goody seems to be getting more and more frustrated by the tags. He's been acting a bit on the thuggish side the last few weeks. The raised elbow could also be a problem. Wouldn't like to be without all three against Freo. Talk about testing our depth!

Goody seems to be getting more and more frustrated by the tags. He's been acting a bit on the thuggish side the last few weeks. The raised elbow could also be a problem. Wouldn't like to be without all three against Freo. Talk about testing our depth!

This is what I think they'll do:

In: Skipworth, Torney, Welsh
Out: Burton, Hart, Ricciuto

Welsh replacing Roo in the sqaure, and Torney is the obvious replacement for Hart. Although I wouldn't bring Skippy back, due the fact he was an emergency on the weekend and had 40 possessions, I think he'll be back. I would prefer Douglas or Pfeiffer though.

Amazing what you read here..MRP has cited Roo...not Johncock. Cross the fingers.
