Yeah righto, we should throw those 3 flags in the bin and sack the guy who said recruit Naitanui over Rich while we're at it. Don't get too carried away with "perceived" success because reality tends to be a real kick to the nut sack.

Wow, geez... He must be so clever to get a good player with pick 2!

Your mob is still trying to find a chemical strong enough to remove the taint on that last flag ... Maybe that's why you're sticking with the chemist!

I think the most important thing they could get at Melbourne (besides a decent coach) is a decent drafting department. Surely no club has ever burned the number of first round draft picks they have for so little return.

Diametric opposite of the Cats.

Though I guess development the other blatantly obvious issue there as well. Along with the tanking culture.

Just out of interest was that the same fella that thought Brad Shepherd would be a better footballer than Nathan Fyfe? Or that Weedon was a better choice than Aaron Black or Mitch Duncan?

This is such a stupid post, when I read it my brains started leaking out my nose.

Freo has a much better list than WCE. Ross Lyon is benefiting from a strong recruiting legacy over the last 5 years.

Say what ? your calling my post stupid ? Ross is in his second year ffs you tool how could he influence their drafting ? go back to what you were doing which was prolly smoking ****.
derp

The problem for West Coast is their inability to retain the players they have drafted, rather than the players being not good enough. Players like Ebert, Stevens, and Swift could have had long careers at West Coast. They chose to pursue careers elsewhere.

Tom Swift had as much chance of having a long football career as I have in getting Taylor Swifts knickers off.

Actually, Taylor is a better footballer as well.

Tom Swift played some good quality first few games, then never improved in successive seasons.

There was a chance. He was drafted after all. I doubt you have ever met Taylor Swift.

If you ever do happen to get her knickers off - pics or GTFO!

But he only needs to get famous to get Taylor spreading. Tom was vanilla.

Good quality huh.

*sigh* He epitomised a crab.

Dan Parker was also drafted.
