Chris Mayne would love for that to happen.

Brad Hardie at it again.
Less gossip at a bingo hall or facebook than what he dribbles.

Hardie probably wants his good mate and hard luck story of the year Rocket to take over Freo.
So why not play Nyhuis instead of Pearce or Suban? As bad as today was, he knows that it's part of the process of development. He also knows that some of the blokes that let us down today will be gone soon. We've got plenty of young talent coming through and he'd fancy himself to develop those guys into a successful team.
Perhaps. But it doesn't appear those on BF doHas RTB got the patience for he rebuild?

He should elevate Duman and give him a game to see what he has to offer.

Melbourne and Gold Coast have made it pretty clear that shoehorning players into the team just because they're young never really works.
Nyhuis is most comfortable as rebounding defender, a role which neither Suban or Pearce play.
Yeah and brennan cox is not a forward's areshole.
I've got an idea, lets draft another ******* defender with pick 5.
We can have 20 of them and have a % of 70!!
Surely Ross would have known where things were at or heading when he re-signed?
He had such a talented saints list, its a joke he didn't win a premiership with them.
So why was Pearce playing as a defender today?

I think that was another case of Ross just shuffling magnets around when we're getting thumped. Seems to happen to players who are on the precipice of being dropped (hopefully).
May be wrong but don't think he started back.
Was definitely in defence from the first bounce.
It was almost like Ross was trying to prove to someone that Danyle is finished so put him back there to make an absolute embarrassment of himself and leave no one in any doubt.
Surely if he leaves for another club we wouldn't have to pay him out.Ross doesn't give a shit because a 5 year deal means he will get a pay out if the club terminates him.
The GCS are so desperate for a coach like him, he will get a job one way or the other.
This year has being one of the most 'even' league we have seen due to dilution of the talent pool. Which begs the question have we really improved or the competition isn't as good?
Ross game plan doesn't work, its a fact. Does anybody remember the teams who were 'unlucky'? He had such a talented saints list, its a joke he didn't win a premiership with them.
I tend to disagree, although the Saints top 5-6 players we're really good in 09-10, if you look at the bottom four or five players in their Grand Final appearances they were pretty average. Guys like McQualter, Robert Eddy, Gwilt, Farren Ray. They weren't special. They came up against one of the better sides of the past 20 years in 2009 (although the Saints still should have won), and in 2010 they played out of their skins to almost snatch the win against the Pies who were the best team that season by a long way.
I think our list is tracking well and I'm happy with our season so far. It was a big loss today, but it was against a team I expect to still be playing come the last weekend of the season. We chopped a lot of experience last season and we've recruited shrewdly and managed to double our W/L record from last year.
