I know I said I didn't care, but man I would have liked to get the W in the end. Anyway it's just round 1 and most games were fizzers. Definitely some positives out of the game particularly some of our debutantes lindsay, Johnson and Henderson. Phones going flat so will leave it at that.

We should have won that.
Round 0 effect? We looked cooked in the end and struggled with defending their D50 exits.
Should have defended the last kick in better.
But impressed with the effort. 5 debutants. Some dash. Some very promising signs for the season ahead.
We played a contender today who just came off obliterating a team last week.
Boy do we have a player in Lindsay.
AJ looked solid in his first up game as a real 2nd ruck option to give Gawn a chop out.
Kozzy will make a massive difference when he comes back in.

Nah. He should have just kicked the goal. Gawn is the bigger culprit though, had 3 shots of which he should have nailed at least 2. Somehow Choco seems to avoid any pressure as our skills coach though because he's a more likeable character than Goody.

He (and Koz) are by far our most dangerous forwards and he's a star when he's in space. Yet we pick three KPfs and Gawn often goes inside 50 as a target.

ANB did this against Carlton in 2017 actually, but I get why Johnson goes for it as if he kicks it the game is just about over.

Fritsch should demand a trade. What is the point of having him in this F50 with the 3 talls set up with Gawn sneaking forward on top of it. Hawthorn would love him and know how to use him.

Goodwin is destroying Frittas career and it is so sad to watch.
