Round 1- No entry for Vic members?

Could somebody school me on Victorian membership.

I'm just not sure if it's worth it.

$150 for 4 games.

I like the idea of being a member of the club i follow but i can't see the point. It's a lot cheaper buying tickets for games individually and because the games have Fremantle in it you can always get a great seat. If I buy a membership can i still bring a friend along or do i have to buy 2x memberships?, do I have option of premium seating for a fee?

I don't know much about membership conditions, but the best thing for me last year was having access to tickets for the Geelong final and sitting with the members who made the trip for such an important game.
Maybe look at it like this, $150 can be spent at the shops/pub in no time. You get general admin to all Melbourne games, access to all finals tickets (GF excl.) and if there's a Freo final in Perth I'm sure you have a friend, family member who can use your barcode ( as I did). Lastly YOUR club gets a pineapple out of you to waste on things like THE BEST COACH EVER.

Jesus. Did you use the Dockers member section or the AFL Members allocation? The only ticket upgrade I've paid more than $8 for was the Grand Final.

Try being a Essendon member who doesn't want a seat coz I rotate who and how many I go with depending on what their doing.

Pay my membership and still have to fork out big bucks for the bloody seat upgrades, all of which are more then $8.

I haven't gotten an email about it being all-ticketed or close to selling out yet either. I'd rather keep the $8 and rock up on the night.

Nah, games don't usually pack until like 15 before the game. If you get there 40 minutes before you'll get a seat. Not everyone's idea of good timing but I always enjoy watching the warm-up.
