Have I missed something? Hasn't Neitz retired?

OMG... it was sooooooooo funny... Neitz has retired.... that's why it was soooooo funny. Get it? Get it? You suggest retired, suspended, injured or generally crap DT players as captain and everyone just falls about the place laughing. Come back next week for some more brilliant suggestions... like Simon Prestagiacombover..... Darren Glass... Matthew Carr or Maybe even James Hird!

not funny anymore..

Not sure it ever was, but talk about giving it a flogging!

i read in the age cox only had 70% TOG, im pretty sure thats less than his usual tog. obviously a reason for his lower than avg score

While we're on the topic of TOG, I notcied that Scott Thompson only had 76% TOG on the weekend! For his 153 DT points.

That must be close to a record in terms of points/min ?

Been living under a rock lately have we?
Can't you read? I already made it clear that I knew he'd retired. Just seems some people on the previous page either didn't know or were trying to be funny (and failed) so I posted that link for those who didn't know (if they didn't know that is).

Sorry about all this neitz captain business:eek: just got back from overseas a few days ago so havent heard the goss on neitz retirement, sorry if everybody thought i was joking:thumbsu:

Ablett, Swan or Thompson for me... change my mind every time I look at my team. I bet 2 will get 100+ and the one I choose as skipper will have a down week!

It's great having 11+ players making legitimate claims for my captaincy, but it's so damn hard to choose!

Chad
Bartel
Cross
Kane
Hayes
Cox
Didak
Pav
BJ
J. Brown

Or even H. Shaw if I bring him in.

All have captaincy potential, so not sure who to pick at the moment. Bartel is the safe bet but I don't like picking a captain that is playing against the Blues.

I'm thinking Kane to be safe. But something tells me to take a risk.

Not sure who im going this week. One of Corey, Bartel, Mitchell or possibly Didak. Leaning towards Mitch at this stage.

Without looking through every page I am sure someone has mentioned the York Park factor - for the game Haw v WB. So, Cross for vc for me. Probably will stick with Ablett as Capt though.

Cross (c)
Swan (vc)

tempted to go with Swan because that Col-Wce game has unaccountability written all over it.
but Swan was my highest scoring player last week and i feel it's someone else's turn to get the mother load.
i have tipped the Bulldogs to defeat Hawks and that Tassie ground tends to produce high stats.
Cross is due for 120+

For those who are selecting Cox, he has scored 93, 94 and 96 in his last 3 games at the G (against Richmond, Richmond and Sydney(GF)).

On the other hand though, he has scored over 120 in his last 3 games against Collingwood.

K.Cornes, Franklin, Pavlich (no way), Cross, H.Shaw, C.Cornes

whos the hot tip this week i might go C.Cornes as he has scored a 100 each game this year except when he has played sydney, got injured.

hes 4/7 and sometimes he can go massive will love it against the dockers or will crowley play him like a glove.

K.Cornes or Cross are the more certain choices
