I like:

In: Davies, Sharp, NOD

But I expect it will be Scerri instead of NOD based on recent history and Young spending time forward. Happy with that.

Perhaps McDonald instead of Davies as well, but Davies should really get gametime. So not so happy if that is the case.

I think it'll be slightly different

Davies for Pearce
Scerri for Young - Will play forward & more mid time for Bolton + Reid
Banners for Wagner - Jlo has been itching to get him in and the most accomplished backman of the lot who can play tall or small.

Davies, Noddy and Sharp would be the best like for like changes on form I would say; but that would drop age/experience massively.

Reckon McDonald might get the nod ahead of Davies for that reason.

Then again Scerri may also come back in too.

These outs aren't ideal but shouldn't change anything against this opposition. Zero excuses not to win.

Kinda torn - I like Freddy playing a wing-fwd role and bringing both of NOD and Sharp in could mess with that. Plus Scerri wins those fwd half ground balls that are so critical to our LDL plays. But Johnno/Ras probably get a boost in midfield minutes (as well as Bolton obviously) with Young out to have those bigger bodies through there. So maybe there's the justification to bring in both and play Freddy more fwd.

Putting aside the obvious desire to see Davies get a run coz he's younger, I think he's the more natural replacement for Pearce anyways, and OMac a more natural replacement for Cox. Don't think it's the right call to go back to old reliable.

So this head knock occurred after his press conference then? Young was interviewed on Tuesday.
Delayed concussion symptoms today from Tuesday training is how I read it.

Surely McDonald is not ahead of Davies in the key back pecking order by now right?

Davies one of the best key backs in the WAFL right now who we need to invest time (and job security) into as he might replace Pearce in 2028
Sorry, I don’t share your enthusiasm for Hugh. I’m scarred from his pathetic effort at the SCG.
It’s Oscar for me.

Geez those outs hurt. F**ing Young out hurts, hopefully it's a glorified rest before the 5 day break

No Simpson or Draper in the extended squad speaks volumes of where they're at right now
Different roles. Draper is not a fullback and is nowhere near physical enough for that. His skill set lends itself to a third tall defender (playing on the Jack Gunston/Jezza types) or as a CHB. Though i'm pretty sure hes been used as a swingman at peel

In: Davies Sharp Scerri
