5 Emac, shut out Riewoldt
4 Hill, tried all night
3 Kerr, tried his guts out
2 Kennedy, was limited in what he could do
1 S.Selwood, would be higher if he could kick and hit a target

Did his best work late, even if it was all good.
Game was over by the time he got into his stride.

Yet Cox has 9 disposals and three marks. And no goals. And gets 4 votes from you.

5. Hill for efort and work
4 Kerr our classiest but ageing
3. Emac
2. Brown while on, for effort
1. Glass who was solid

Masten? if you gave him one he would fumble it.

Truth be told I think nobody bar Mackenzie probably deserved votes.
But I thought Cox and Naitanui were massive in the ruck and can only be rated down by the midfielders ineptness.
Granted they did little around the ground but they gave our midfielders first service (said mids then conspired to hand ball over to Richmond).

You're right, they were outstanding in the ruck. They were not only tapping it to our players but in front of them in space. Our midfielders were truly appalling.

We lost because we couldn't win the clearances or even stop Richmond. For all the cheap disposals the midfielders accumulated, they were worthless - certainly not worthy of votes.

Seriously. Has there ever before been such a domination in the ruck before? Yet we couldn't win a clearance to save our life. And on the odd occasion we did it was a rushed kick to no one. Any half decent midfield would have absolutely dominated with the ruck work tonight. Our midfield would have to be bottom 4 in the league just about.

God this is hard. Masten, Shuey and S. Selwood were among our hardest workers but weren't winning the ball where it counts and Kerr was classy without getting a lot of it.

As follows...

5. Mackenzie
4. Masten
3. Hill
2. Brown
1. Shuey

HM to: S. Selwood, Kennedy, Kerr and Butler, Cox/Naita's tapwork, Gaff's ball use

DM to: A. Selwood, Priddis, LeCras.
