Another useful rough price change guide for during rounds is:
Price change = (Score - BE)*5/12
So increase by that next week if they beat BE ( or drop if they don't)
I has SC Gold, so I just ratio the predicted score to the predicted price to work out the new price for next week. Looks like this week the price change is $447/point off the BE

Aah, good stuff, good way to do it :thumbsu:

Aren't tackles worth 4 points? Bont had 11 tackles but only got 30 points for them

Each thing has a 'standard' score.
Like a tackle = 4 points or something.

But SC take the game situation (at the time of the 'thing' happening) into consideration and applies weighting.

Ie a tackle when your team is 100 points up or down doesn't score as much (probably just 4, sometimes maybe less?) as that same tackle in a close game or when the game is still in the balance before a blowout.

Whats the difference between a "clanger" handball and an "ineffective" handball ?
Coz i watched KOTD handball direct to Hannebery..couldnt have done a sweeter job of handing it to the other mob...but they list him as 0 "clanger" handballs. His score went UP when he did it.

I don't know but I doubt that every disposal that goes to the opposition is classed as a clanger. Whether they are a clanger or just ineffective would depend on the result of that turnover I would think. For example a turnover that led to an opposition goal would be a clanger but one that only cost the team possesion of the ball would be ineffective. That's just IMO and could well be wrong.

that sounds like a clanger to me. was he under any pressure?

Yeah, I thought it was:
Handball that misses the target = ineffective
Handball to an opponent = clanger

If it was contested it should've got zero. Pretty funny that his score went up

Definition of clanger according to Wikipedia, which is 100% accurate 50% of the time, says a clanger is "Any disposal or deliberate knock-on that goes directly to an opposition player."

The definition of clanger in the dictionary is "an absurd or embarrassing blunder."

Either way, I think it's safe to assume it was a clanger.

D.Lloyd OUT

Damn you Stevie J, why couldn't you take another fortnight off.

It looks like Myers survives another week. Campaigner better get to 50 this week.

unless you've only got 18 or 19 including JJ then his 40 points wasnt going to count anyway

I just see Rocky as a player you can't afford not to have. Yes he stuffs you up when he gets inured but he stuffs you up just as much if you don't have him and he plays and scores massively every week.

Yes ...and i'd be careful of Zac Willliams, who's playing midfield now UNTIL injured players return .....trap!

Interesting ......so if i handball to a player, and he picks the ball off the ground as it lands, or after the first bounce ......is that an effective handball or non-effective??
