Schulz missing out is either a very bad sign for him or a big mistake by Rawlings. Given Rawlings' stated intention of playing traditional key positions I lean towards the former. Schulz has kicked 20 in the past three at Coburg. If ever he were going to get an extended run at FF it would be now, with his tail up, a winnable game and on the back of the fresh-start impetus the new coach brings. With Coburg not playing this week our most in-form big forward will be cooling his heels watching Morton as our leading FF.
The only other thing I can think of is he was left out in case he helped kick a winning score.
