Last time i watched Hawks v Richmond B2B it was Sammy's 300th and it was a punt rd MCG double
We didn't win the VFL game pretty sure Maric and Vickery played for the Tiges in that game

Oh how times change

Smarting from a loss at home to the Bombers, the Hawks hit the road and go into the inner suburbs of Melbourne to play the 2017 VFL grand finalist Richmond on their home patch.

The Tigers currently sit on top of the ladder on percentage from Casey Demons having had last weekend off to freshen up.

The Hawks currently sit in fifth place but a bad result could see the Hawks fall outside the top eight with other finals aspirants Footscray (ninth on percentage) and North Melbourne (10th a game behind) facing relatively easy games against the Northern Blues and Coburg respectively, while Collingwood (in sixth on percentage) travels to Williamstown (in seventh on percentage).

Of course, in case any additional motivation is needed for Box Hill, the Tigers were the team that stopped them in their tracks in the 2017 preliminary final, denying rookie coach Chris Newman a chance at premiership glory in his first season as Box Hill's coach.
