Excited to see a midfield of Shiel, Hobbs, Tsatas and Hately at VFL level.

Hobbs and Tsatas will improve exponentially getting grunt minutes in the middle and improving their craft. Setterfield, Hateley and Shiel as bigger bodies to protect them will be even more important now.

Keen to see Ryan Brodie again. Impressed with his last start.. The VFL kids are going to be good if hey stick around and no * off like they always seem to do. Billy cootee, Sam Conforti, John Jorgensen, Joel Fitzgerald just from last years list alone.

Ball movement terrible. No run. Only F50 from a bad error by them. And just now Davey can’t kick the ball 15m to his brother.

That ball movement was exceptional. Best movement I've seen from Shiel all year. Lual and Davey huge there too.

with how high up the ground the rebounders are pushing, and the effort on defence from the small fwds, no wonder the seagulls are filling the book at the moment

Ironically, I felt he dropped off a bit after you called him out. But his 1st quarter was pretty decent. Bit disappointed in Setterfield but they might be managing his minutes. Hobbs looks better when he gets to play inside. And as for Tsatas, he just cant kick. They almost need to send him away with a kicking coach for a month or 2 where that's all he does. Would help if he looked before he tries to kick too. Tex looking so much better off half back.

Jayden definitely looks like our best long term small forward IMO. Has such tight in close movement.

Shiel and Tsatas combine out of the middle ends with a great crumbing goal from Jayvey
