i am rapt that hartigan is back in.easily in our best 22 when fit.
i think riewoldt should be given another chance but oubt he will.
hawthorn aren't that tall up forward so moore probably won't get a game, but mcguane should.
in short my four on the bench would be mcguane, hartigan, hyde and schultz.

Hartigan should be delisted at seasons end. But hey, lets give him a go and see if he can fire a shot (or should I say hit a target).

After a 5 possession game at 75% TOG?
Why?

He's better off developing his game in a winning side at Coburg IMO.
Doesn't look ready for senior football yet.

Because of what he did with the ball. He set-up Tambling for a goal. He had a good forward mark but couldnt convert.

He smartly switched another ball that led to a Pettifer goal after 1 more possession.

I believe it was 7 possessions but that's minor really.

Let the kid settle. Give him one more game. He worked his butt off last time however our one-eyed midfielders would rather kick it to Richo against 2 opponents.

You're looking at the stats without what he did with them. :thumbsd:

Tuck had 23 possessions and yet I can only think of one occasion that he hit a forward target.

Jack has real football smarts, I'd rather give him one more than bring in Schulz who gets a game with one decent effort after weeks of mediocrity. It took Jack 2 B.O.G.s to get a gig.

Driving from Dubbo on the weekend to watch the game and stay the weekend.

Not many AFL shops in Dubbo.. So where's the best place to buy Tigers gear? Hats, Polo's beenies etc???

Is the Punt Road shop open gamedays??

It is BB, also plenty of merchandise vans around the ground you pay massively over the odds for everything.

pretty uninspiring team all round

schulz, moore, hartigan etc are all guys that need to stand the **** up or piss off

you look at the team we are playing and guys like boyle (schulz) campbell brown (moore) sewell (hartigan) are the guys that have improved for hawthorn and why all their young kids have been developing nicely at box hill instead of being rushed in

the guys that i made bold are similar types we have but just havent cut it, you can talk about the new draftees but its those 23 yo old guys that is the main difference

Fair point in the main PLSC, but with a minor tweak to his stats from not playing in defense or being off injured, plus getting the level of ball the Hawks forwards have been getting from their midfield, Schulz would be right up there with Boyle.

Boyle is averaging 10 possessions, 2 goals a game, 5 marks a game, 1 tackle a game, way more frees against than for, and converting his chances very accurately - Schulz is very similar when all is told.

And just to add another element: bring Williams back in and watch Boyle's stats trend downwards.

boyle gets on his bike and doesnt stop presenting, when he did his hamstring he was on his way to the wing to present and be an option for under pressure hawk backmen, i cant ever see schulz doing that can you?

boyle isnt the next carey but he is a similar type i was comparing to schulz and one guy has stepped up while the other has almost spent half the year at vfl level

schultz and hartigan are rising star nominees and have a bit of class about them, compared to some of the recent recuits, who are lucky if they can a few touches a game and if they get a touch people keep saying how good they are.
