question is do i bother going paddy to jackson? leaves me with 3. hesitant to use 1 of 4 remaining on a sort of sideways trade. thoughts?

no. accepting my fate of a paddy f6. my team is as complete as it is going to get. if one of my 4 trades makes it to sc finals. ill look to upgrade him.

4 trades left is putrid. 3 is even worse.

Now considering just the one trade in Preuss to Darcy. Otherwise I'm looking at a big fat doughnut. Will play Butler at F6, hope for the best and trade Butters to English once the big man returns.

Incredibly, this would leave me with 6 trades and make it unlikely I'll ever use my final boost.

Normally I would consider holding English and Butters, but have 13 trades left and two boosts. Playing for league

Butters will probably only miss week

a. Port are desperate to make finals and they'll want to rush him back
b. He's too brave for his own good, he'll tell the medicos he's fine

The issue is if he plays and reinjures his knee, you're screwed, low score and he'll drop a heap of cash (BE = 122)

Looks like it's minor, as worst it's a 2 or 3 weeker

I reckon you can hold if you're really low on trades, and/or have very little in the bank to trade him to somebody top tier

i can trade him straight to bont. but it leaves me with paddy f6 and 4 trades.



considering this instead. paddy drops to f7. extra cover for rucks. english is covered by a rookie for one week. cant afford to trade out 2 week injured premos this late. bringing in jackson with 2 trades instead allows me to stick to that all year and gives me 3 trades for LTI's.

Do you have any cover?
If not and you have no on-field upgrades left to make, would trade Butters out to a Bont / Parker / ... type..
He's just not consistent and durable enough and you're trade-rich.

Upgrading Clark in the mids and will just run bench cover for Butters. Just annoyed i brought English in last week

purposely avoiding bringing in parker at this stage.

I doubt nank gets DPP .
I of thinking of trading Gawn to him ,only if he was cheaper to use the cash else where.
Went English because of AVG and DPP scoring ceiling.

Given it looks like Preuss will only miss a week(with Hayes to miss another 2-3) and English is broken im just turning Butters into the forgotten man Duncan and pocketing 20k

I'll probably get no season ending injuries now that I have no trades left.

Have reasonable cover. Tich at M8 and McCartin at F6 kinda hurts but got stitched up too much the last 3 weeks with my trades all being disastrous.

It all started when I traded out Heeney and Daicos to get English in as everyone else was getting him in and I caved in.

Then the Preuss > Gawn > Preuss debacle just topped it all off.

Yeah, I did, too.
Was a popular move.
And he did the job last week and had a good matchup on paper this round, too. Can always second.guess yourself, but it was a logical move.
Clark move makes sense, am also thinking.of playing cover in FWDs and hope enough others are that it doesn't impact too heavily.
Mine's Rosas, though, last game, so won't get a sighter, either have to trade ahead of time of just cop what he dishes up.
