I like Hughes but he's a dumbarse. Was responsible for at least one Carlton goal at a crucial time on the weekend because he couldn't work out that it was better to be caught holding the ball rather than let the ball spillout at half back.

Can defend well but awful ball in hand.

Interesting take Anchor. I'll have to watch Port game yet again now.

At the match I was critical of Freddy not being able to take a series of marks, concluded he'd had a disappointing day. After rewatching I changed my mind, thought he'd had quite a few good moments apart from the marking frustration.

I posted in the game thread - Freddy has his mojo back. I thought he was very damaging with his running & link up stuff.
