what trades are on the agenda this week?

im struggling in the backline even though i have 7 premiums in:
deledio, scotland, goddard, waters, birchall, shaw and carazzo.

i copped 2 zeros this week because my bench is townsend and spurr, with plenty of other cash cows for upgrades neither are worth trading to avoid zeros.

i might just go
james mcdonald > mcintyre (if he is named again)

Thinking trade out Hargrave, switch M Johnson back to defence, allowing Murdoch to come in as F8 to free up some cash and then upgrading one of Bugg or Clarke to Birchall. This also allows me to play Zorko as F7 after having him as D7 last week.

Thinking about a double trade this week..

Hargrave > Fisher (might be a handy POD in the run home)
Bugg > Yarran (wish I had done this trade last week *sigh*)

Then with any luck, Murphy will play this week and be green vested and plummet in price, so I can go JZ > Murphy next week.

Thinking about Broughton (B7) to Suckling, Adcock, Johnson, Grimes or Shaw. Would be merely a cosmetic trade but Broughton gives me the shits no end.

edit: Or I could go Whitecross - Goodes(F7) and Broughton to Scotland. Will leave me light on for trades but with a very strong team and could help me up the rankings considerably. 2 Trades remaining if I make 2 this week.

Thoughts?

Hargrave to Yarran

I am thinking of Elliot or Dickson to Murdoch so I can upgrade Masten to Swan the week after but I may also delay it a week. But then chances are there won't be any decent forward rookies next week.

Hargrave to a premo. Not sure who, plenty of options in Birch, Hanley, Scotland, Adcock, Heppell, Enright..

Still waiting for Pendles to bottom out and becoming my last mid upgrade. JMac should be dropped this week which is good so he can hold his price.

Had a majorly shit year. Absolutely out of the zone starting the year with a bunch of crap. Have gone aggressive and picked my upgrades wisely lately, but I'm sorely tempted to use my final 2 trades (yes, I know, don't start) to finish my team...

At the moment...
B: Deledo, Suckling, Scotland, Birchall, H.Shaw, Carrazzo, S.Shaw, Smedts, C.Delaney
M: Ablett, Watson, Thompson, Mitchell, Rockliff, Ebert, Ward, Gibson
R: Jacobs, Giles, Redden, Jenkins
F: Franklin, Robinson, Dangerfield, S.Johnson, Hawkins, Zorko, Porplyzia, Dickson, Pfeiffer

So tempted, so very tempted, to go Delaney + Ebert > Goddard + Goodes. Would mean my side is finished as I can be, giving me mid/fwd swapping options. But.... backline coverage is thin (then again, not many decent defenders this year anyway) and rucks very much weak, particularly if Giles goes missing.

Alternatively, I could sit on my 2 trades. Have 4 very winnable league games (in 4 leagues, but mainly trying to do well in my work league, where I'm 3rd) in the run home, so can probably get by until finals and then use them then. But I don't want to miss out on cheapish options in Goodes and Goddard now. Then again, don't want more crippling injuries (have seriously destroyed every decent ruckman I've gone for, using a quarter of my trades in that dept).

Any helpful advice?

gday lads, have a complete team and am sitting pretty. could go for goodes, who at his price is really tempting, could straight swap for martin and actually make some dosh (13K i think) would be my 7th forward, with colin sylvia being my f8/m7. yay or nay?

Do you guys think 2-4 trades is going to be enough to cover injuries for the rest of the year?

I've only got 4 left and could probably do with upgrading at least one player, but it would take two trades to accomplish it. Not sure that'll be enough to cover me for the rest of the year.

I'm not sure who to bring in for Waters. Already have Scotland, Lids, Carrots, Adcock, Birchall. Shaw and Spurr on the bench. I think the best choices would be out of Johnson and Suckling - am leaning towards Johnson as he has been slightly more consistent. Rather not get Hanley, I think his good patch of scoring wont last much longer. What are peoples thoughts??

My teams pretty much in ruins atm with injuries and suspensions. Heres my team if you have any suggestions it would be good.

Im thinking of keeping waters maybe trading hurley.
