Not if the first 3 keep scoring the way they do. Bird's never been a good DTer though, he's going through a good patch but I wouldn't rely on him to keep pumping out 90s and 100s.

Why are so many people jumping on Grimes?

I understand he has pretty good scoring potential for a backman but he has poor durability, will still drop a huge chunk this week, and the handful of games he has played this year has scored very up and down in. Plus he plays for Melbourne who aren't really producing any fantasy relevant players these days

It's probably because "premium" backs continue to disappoint and seeing as Grimes hasn't been playing, he hasn't disappointed.

The other trade im considering is K.Jack to Cotchin, is this crazy? Jack has a large b/e (attainable though playing GWS) and Cotch a low b/e, pocket 100k, Im certain they will both average the same in the run home, anybody want to talk me out of it?

Beams smashed it last year and dont see why he wouldnt now if he is fit
plus not many teams will have him.

If he was given the vest it wouldn't be because of form. It would simply be a rest and wouldn't be a bad idea considering they are up against GWS.

Pay no attention to the colour of a dot. It's simply because he is named on the bench which is where he starts every single week.

Beams has played one game in the VFL this year. It's a good chance that he will be eased into it with the green/red vest. Even if he doesn't it is crazy to just expect him to carry on scoring like he did last year with the lack of match fitness he has.
