I think we can all presume McManus won't get dropped from possibly his last ever derby.

Would love to see Foster play this weekend, but not at the expense of Duffield. I think Peake should be guaranteed a start.

Exact mentality that will get us nowhere. Who really cares if it his last derby? Next week will be his last game against Essendon, week after last game in Melbourne, week after that... last game at Subi.

Select the best team for our needs.

Believe me, if he was dropped for this game and he never played again... I would throw a massive party at my house with free elephants to every Fremantle fan here....... I can safely offer this deal because we all know he will be playing sporadically until seasons end.

Is Headland actually injured or has he been dropped. No reports during the week of an injury. Big statement if he has been dropped.

Re: round 18 team

I would have liked seeing Cook get a match.

I was really disappointed to read that the club are considering playing Cook in 3 more games to get to 150. If they are going to do it then this week should certainly be one of the three, hopefully his non-selection is an indication they aren't going to give him his 3 games.

If they are going to give him 3 games he should be playing this week, then make way for Foster to debut at home against the bombers. Now if Foster doesn't play this week we probably won't see him with Cook, Parker and Headland to come back in before seasons end. :thumbsd:

He reportedly has a hamstring. Not sure if he has tweaked it and will miss a week or if it is more serious resulting in 2-3 weeks out.

Strange that we haven't heard any reports of an injury prior to selection, he wouldn't have been rested to avoid a confrontation and suspension would he?

From fremantlefc.com.au

"Elevated rookie Andrew Foster has been named in the team’s preliminary 25 man squad after consistent performances for WAFL club East Fremantle.

The 21 year old has been a mainstay through the midfield for the Sharks in his 15 matches this season, averaging 16 possessions and five marks per game to compliment his tireless running."

Hell we have someone, a midfielder who is a tireless runner?? Makes Haze and Josh look like bystanders

It might suddenly come good just before the game. Sort of stuffs up the press building up the Headland / Selwood thing all week.

When M Carr gets towelled up by Cousins and or Judd and or Kerr will it be his last game for us i hope so. I say give foster ago and let him tag kerr, they are simular sized players and he would learn heaps from kerr.

Foster i think would be happy to do that but it would probably be a bit embarrassing for Carr. Although not as embarrassing as watching Kerr rack up 30 possessions from the bench. Carr is about as pacy as Tarrant is accurate thank god for Schammer and Peake otherwise it would be an absolute flogging in the midfield. I say recruit fast pacy midfielders hopefully with a bit of muscle in em that's only way Freo is gonna get anywhere.

Now that the Des vs Selwood thing is pushed aside, I want to see the Josh Carr vs Daniel Chick show take shape! Carr has every right to be pissed off at that clown at the tribunal last time. Seriously Chick should have been suspended for making a mockery of the tribunal process making false claims.
