Anyone got much opinion on Luke Ryan??

Don’t have too much choice of defenders (only under 455k)

I'm bringing him in this week. Great POD, great scoring potential. A couple of quiet weeks, but his form is great. With Freo's run home I think he'll score well

Gunston looks like a real solid POD... only in 3% of teams and looks set to spend time across half back to cover Sicily’s absence.. Thoughts?

If you think your overall side is a little lower quality than your finals opponents’ and you’d need/want to take a risk on a bloke with that ceiling, you could, for example. But he’s probably still a bit short of a gallop and JJK is also going to compete with him for points more than earlier in the year. Without knowing your fwd structure, would prob say no.

Ok - need some help finally narrowed things down

Option 1 - C.Oliver - leaves me with 1 trade and 40k

Option 2 - Macrae - leaves me with 1 trade and 2k

I have Doedee and Fritz as my D6 & F6 - so the extra cash would be handy for an upgrade closer to finals or for any more LTI's

Currently sitting 1st in all 3 leagues with records of 14-1, 14-1 and 14-2... atleast a game clear in each.
With heeney, gray, mclean, degoey and boak my other forwards. I have Tmac back. A lot of the fwd premos aren’t tickling my fancy. Hurn the safer option via a tmac swap?

He played there for the whole year last year. Took him about half of the season to adjust but once he did he scored well. Check his scoring last year to have an idea what im talking about

Yeah looking a bit deeper. He is risky. Who else would you look at that's Podish?

Ok hosers after a lot of consternation this week I'd appreciate any opinions on the following options to replace Nic Nat/Sicily (5 trades left before this week - $3k bank):

This is my order of preference

1. Goldy/Heath Shaw combo;
* 2. Grundy/donut D8 McDaid (from Tom Cole trade out) ; hold Sicily this week in defence and have him covered by Mihocek def E;
3. Sinclair or Nank/Angus Brayshaw combo
4. Dawson Simpson and pretty much any def/mid/fwd up to $588k

* The caveat on the Grundy move is that I still need to trade out Sicily before or during SC finals. Both Hoff and Robbie Gray are going to be cheaper next week so a chance to bring in #2 ranked ruck and a top 3 fwd over next two weeks. I do like this option but will need 3 trades to make it happen (leaving only 2 for finals). Ranked about 1300 overall so want to keep strong.

I'm in the same boat. Fyfe still 3-4 and no miracle recovery this time.
I prefer a team still in the hunt for finals, so maybe Oliver. But then you look at that month Macrae had earlier 141, 189, 156, 177

Joining the no trades club.. Treloar/Fyfe/Sicily/Webster chewed up my 4 injury trades i had remaining. What a campaigner of a year (Austin and Ridley not playing on my bench in defence so need to avoid a donut)

Need to flick NN and Sicily. Only 10k in bank so doesn't leave me with much:

Option A) Grundy + DEF < $366k (Houli + Hibberd inj, will Ryan Burton come good with Sic out?)
Option B) Martin + DEF < $433k (Tuohy, Witherden, Rance, Shaw?)
Option C) Nankervis + Brayshaw... leaning towards this option...
Option D) Grundy + DEF rookie (Morgan, O'Riordan), then trade Austin > any DEF (minus Lloyd) next week.... risky as it will only leave me 1 trade.
